About Us

Hi! My name is Sylvia Mercer. I am currently a caregiver for my father, who has dementia. We live in Henderson County, Kentucky. One thing I have learned throughout our journey together is how important purpose is to a person, to keep them engaged in life. Purpose and action is what keeps us all going and moving forward through life. I have created a reality that gives us that purpose. It is a combination of all of my favorite things and my dad's favorite thing. I used my schooled knowledge of skincare, organic gardening and growing things with my dad's love of being in the car, riding around town. It gives me joy to create handcrafted, organic body care product during dementia "downtime". It gives Dad joy to ride around town making deliveries. We are excited that Mercer Botanical Farm as grown so fast in our first year. We are forever grateful and we will together, continue to grow with purpose.
